chelsea jung, cello

Chelsea Jung is a S. Korean cellist based in Belgium. She holds a Master’s degree from the Royal
Conservatory of Antwerp, where she studied with Professor Justus Grimm, and further refined
her musical training through masterclasses in Germany and France with distinguished cellists
including Marie Hallynck, Francis Gouton, Hans-Christian Schweiker, and Gustav Rivinius.
She is an active performer and ensemble musician, currently collaborating with many chamber
music ensembles and orchestras around Belgium. For the 2025–2026 season, she is a stagiaire
with Opera Ballet Vlaanderen.
In addition to her performance activities, she has experience in classical concert planning and project coordination. Her artistic work is                        characterized by musical sensitivity, thoughtful prgramming, and a                  collaborative approach to chamber music.
