oriana dierinck, flute
oriana studied flute and chamber music at the brabant and rotterdam conservatory with raymond delnoye and jo hagen, and obtained the diplomas 'docerend' and 'uitvoerend musicus'.
she gained orchestral experience with the rotterdam young philharmonic and performed at the gergiev festival 2001. in the same year, she was selected by tape for masterclasses with william bennet (linos foundation amsterdam) and philippe pierlot (second flute convention paris) and more recent (2007) for the second flute audition with the london symphony orchestra.
from 2002 till 2011 she has been teaching flute and ensemble at the centre for the arts in oudenbosch (NL) and from february onwards she is teaching music at the music academy in brussels.
in 2007 she founded ' zvezdoliki'.
besides teaching and playing chamber music, oriana is also working as a freelance musician with the rotterdam chamber orchestra, the netherlands symphony orchestra, the flemish opera and the royal flemish philharmonic with whom she performed at the queen elisabeth hall antwerp, the doelen in rotterdam and the concertgebouw in amsterdam, and participated in broadcasts for dutch tv nps and belgian classical radio klara.
