the first Z V E Z D O L I K I concert of this season is coming up. it will be on sunday october 10th, at 8 PM.
we will play the creation of a new piece, written especially for us by norwegian composer hugo arne harmens. the piece is called 'autumn septet', is based on stravinsky's cantata 'zvezdoliki' and will be conducted by luc brewaeys. besides hugo's piece, we also play ravel's famous sonata for violin and cello, dutch composer rudolf escher's 'le tombeau de ravel' and the passacaglia in g minor for harpsichord by louis couperin.
